What are afternoon tee events?..


Afternoon-tee-events are a twice annual event held in Plymouth for independent clothing, streetwear, accessory, and craft labels.

Promoted as a “sample sale”, the event attracts shoppers from Lands End to Bristol as well as buyers and press from all over the UK. This creates a one-stop-shop where independent labels can sell directly to the public, whilst at the same time courting key shops and media; all in a relaxed, outdoor & indoor "festival" environment.

The event is an all day affair, generally taking place from noon till until the early hours, (a typical event lasting 12-15 hours in total!)

Currently situated within the University of Plymouth grounds, and held over 4 arenas, the afternoon-tee-events are located in Plymouth’s city centre; 5 minutes walk from the main train station and just 60 seconds away from the new Drake Circus shopping mall. This centrally located venue enables raised outdoor and indoor stages, furnished with fully decked outside areas and fully furnished indoor areas with numerous seating areas, bars, and entertainment.

Musical acts from all over the UK perform throughout the course of the event, encompassing pretty much every any musical genre of band, dance and DJ music that anyone could possibly want!...
